About Me

Meet Sarah!

Hi! My name is Sarah Brenner, and I’m a Registered Dietitian based in Cambridge, MA.

Since becoming an RD and moving to Boston in 2020, I have worked with clients in various settings including private practice, community health, and on campus. In addition to seeing clients in my practice, I serve the student population at MIT as the sole dietitian on the Eating Concerns Team.

As an experienced distance runner and endurance athlete, I have a special interest in working with athletes at all levels. I am passionate about promoting adequate fueling in sport and helping athletes navigate their relationships to both food and exercise. I understand, on a professional and personal level, the many challenges that can arise around fueling in training and during competition.

I practice from a weight-inclusive approach and utilize an intuitive eating framework. I firmly believe that my clients are the experts of their own bodies, and that your lived experience is valid. I always hope to create a space that feels collaborative and comfortable.

When I am not seeing clients, I enjoy running on nearby trails, reading (please share your book recommendations!), and listening to music. To address the question that everyone wants to ask a dietitian: my favorite food is cheese. In fact, I recently earned my Certificate in Cheese Studies from Boston University. I am always happy to talk all things cheese!
